Overview

Monsieur Future operates through the website www.monsieurfuture.com (hereinafter the “Site”). In this context, Monsieur Future is required to collect and process a certain number of personal data concerning the users of the Site, its customers.

Monsieur Future attaches the greatest importance to the protection of privacy and personal data of its users and to compliance with applicable regulations.

The processing of this data by Monsieur Future as data controller is carried out in accordance with the procedures described below.

Article 1: Data collected when creating an account or placing an order

Monsieur Future may collect personal data on the Site when placing an order or creating an account.

Monsieur Future may also request proof of identity or address, and process data related to the account, orders, payment methods used, type of configuration selected, and more generally, exchanges between Monsieur Future and the client.

Payment data is collected solely by the payment provider based on the payment method used. Monsieur Future does not have access to it. Other data may be provided optionally by the user (e.g., date of birth). If the mandatory data is not provided, the user will not be able to place an order.

This processing allows Monsieur Future to provide information to concerned individuals, manage its customer and prospect database, process orders, and manage customer relations (delivery, invoicing, payment, requests, and complaints). It may also be used to comply with legal obligations.

This processing also allows Monsieur Future to send updates about its activities, products and services, conduct promotions, surveys, collect reviews, compile statistics, or create profiles based on page views and purchases to personalise communications. No automated decision-making takes place. Some data may also be used to prevent fraud or ensure site security.

The processing is based on contract execution or pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject, legal obligations, or Monsieur Future’s legitimate interest in operating its business while respecting user rights.

To offer Alma and Klarna’s payment options, we may share your personal data (including contact and order details) with them so they can assess eligibility and tailor their offers to your needs. Your data will be processed in accordance with Alma’s and Klarna’s privacy policies.

Article 2: Data collected when subscribing to the newsletter

Monsieur Future may collect personal data when a user subscribes to the newsletter. Without this, the user cannot receive updates about Monsieur Future’s activity, products, and services.

This processing allows us to send updates and manage our database of customers and prospects.

Processing is based on user consent.

Article 3: Data collected through cookies and trackers

Additional user data may be collected through cookies and trackers used by Monsieur Future under the conditions described below.

Article 4: How is personal data processed?

Personal data is processed by Monsieur Future as data controller for the purposes described above.

Monsieur Future undertakes not to use this data for any other purpose, nor to share it with third parties except as described in this policy or with the user’s informed consent.

Data may be shared with internal teams (e.g., sales or marketing) and service providers (e.g., IT, logistics, marketing, payment). Some of these providers may transfer data outside the EU.

Monsieur Future requires its providers to comply with relevant regulations and ensures that any data transfers outside the EU are subject to adequate protection or safeguards.

Monsieur Future may also disclose personal data if required by law, e.g., in response to legal complaints, court orders, or requests from public authorities.

Data is stored only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Customer/prospect data is kept for three years from the last contact.

Data may be archived for legal reasons or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, for up to ten years from order execution.
