Built to Last
Style is visible. Performance is proven.
Every Monsieur Future garment is designed to last, not only in theory, but in practice. Before production, our fabrics are tested to recognised ISO standards and subjected to the conditions they will face in real life: washing, friction, tension and repeated wear. Because performance should not simply be claimed. It should be proven.

Abrasion Resistance
Built to withstand friction.
Bags, seats, desks and repeated movement gradually wear down a fabric. Our materials undergo more than 20,000 controlled abrasion cycles to measure surface deterioration and material loss.
Result: a fabric that maintains its appearance and structure through repeated daily use.

Pilling Resistance
The surface stays clean.
Repeated friction can cause loose fibres to form small balls on the surface of a fabric. To evaluate this, each material undergoes thousands of controlled rubbing cycles that reproduce the effects of regular wear.
Result: reduced pilling and a surface that remains clean, smooth and consistent over time.

Color Fastness
The color holds.
Each fabric is tested against repeated washing, friction, humidity and exposure to light to measure how well the dye remains fixed within the fibres.
Result: lasting color depth and consistency, wash after wash and wear after wear.

Shrinkage After Washing
The fit stays consistent.
Machine washing can alter the dimensions and structure of a garment. Each fabric is washed repeatedly under controlled conditions, then measured to evaluate dimensional stability.
Result: minimal shrinkage and a garment that retains its original proportions after washing.

Crease Recovery
The fabric returns to shape.
Each fabric is compressed and folded under controlled conditions, then evaluated on its ability to recover after the pressure is released.
Result: fewer visible creases and a fabric that naturally returns to its original shape after wear.

Tear Resistance
The structure holds.
Each fabric is placed under progressively increasing tension to measure the force required to tear it and assess its mechanical strength.
Result: a resilient structure designed to withstand the tension and movement of everyday wear.
